Concept and Definition of RVN

Within the KONET Network, a Rapid Validation Node (RVN) is a protocol component that operates as an intermediate layer between the execution layer and the Layer-1 finalization layer, simultaneously handling transaction pipeline performance and the attribution of operational responsibility.

RVN does not produce blocks and does not participate in the consensus process. In addition, RVN does not guarantee or commit to the outcome of any transaction, its finalization status, or any state changes.

The core purposes of RVN are as follows:

1. To clearly record which operational entity’s pipeline processed a given transaction flow

2. To technically define the point of attribution for operational responsibility with respect to the quality, latency, errors, omissions, or abnormal processing of that pipeline

In other words, an RVN is not “an entity that guarantees outcomes,” but rather “a layer that clearly records the attribution of processing paths and the responsibility for operational quality.”

Through this structure, KONET enables:

• Transaction processing to be managed not by an “anonymous collective,” but

• By identifiable operational pipeline units, and 　

• The overall operational quality of the network to be structurally managed.
